To configure, navigate to SITE COMMAND->WASH PACKAGES->WASHES
A wash package (sometimes referred to as "recipe") is group of outputs that when combined result in a wash package. Washes instruct the controller how to perform its job when a vehicle has been presented to the system. Three common wash package examples might be "Good", "Better", and "Best"; all three have the same basic set of outputs defined, however "Better" may have added to it a tire shine, and "Best" might added to it both a tire shine and a Dry N Shine.
To add, remove or edit a wash package, navigate to WASH PACKAGES->WASHES. Here the user can see all configured wash packages that may already exist.
NOTE: A total of 16 wash packages are supported by the CruzControl controller.
In the example shown below, four wash packages have been configured.
Clicking any wash package in the list will bring up the EDIT WASH PACKAGE window.
Here you may configure the Description of this wash package, any tax or price information you wish to associate to it for later reporting purposes, as well as which output(s) are to be turned on when this wash package is applied.
Clicking the Select more outputs dropdown will reveal a list of all available outputs.
Clicking each output will either add to or remove from this upsell said output. In the example below, the user has added three outputs (only shown for example purposes; in a typical system dozens of outputs will be added); the output's bar has turned yellow and the output has been added to the list at the top.
Once all desired changes have been made, click SUBMIT at the bottom of the window to apply the changes.
Note: Some features do not belong in the wash package, otherwise they'll function for every car in the package. Let's use a High Hood as an example. The output has to be created for the 3-Position Valve on the Top Brushes, however if you include it in the Wash Package, the system treats it like a normal output vs. having it controlled by the sonar, which means EVERY vehicle will get High Hood. Some other common examples are: Dolly (Roller) Up or any retracts.
