Wash Packages - Overrides

To configure, navigate to SITE COMMAND->WASH PACKAGES->OVERRIDES

Overrides are crucial to the Car Wash Controller to adjust equipment functions based on the Vehicle In Task. For instance, when you need equipment to behave a different way for Trailer Hitches or Roof Racks. Overrides allow instant modification to the Wash Package without needing to program them individually or manually turn off pieces of equipment. These features are available to access either through your Send Station or on our Entrance HMI.

The configuration of the Overrides begins at the Overrides screen. 

NOTE: For C4 Series Controllers, the Overrides available are 2 - 9. For C1000, C5000 and C6 Series Controllers, Overrides are 1 - 16.

Clicking any Override selection will bring up the EDIT OVERRIDE window.

At this modal, you have the ability to define the name (Limited to 12 Characters) and clicking the Select More Outputs will allow you to select what you wish to be applied when this Override is fired.

Clicking on Select more outputs expands the list, allows you to either specifically search or modify the count (How many are displayed at one time) and scroll manually. Clicking on a Output will add it to the list.

Here, we have selected two Outputs that normally included in the Wash Package. When selecting an Output, these specified Outputs are completely removed from the package.

Here this time, we selected a Virtual Output, these, when configured by Equipment type "Virtual Retract" are Outputs that are "Added" to the Wash Package that then fire to turn off their designated target output. So if Output 180 Virtual Wrap Rear is targeting Output 4 Wrap Extend, this Output would be programmed to shut off #4 for the Rear of the Vehicle. This would be useful for Trailer Hitches.

When you are satisfied with your selections, please navigate to the bottom of the model and press Submit! Thats all folks!
