Type - 16 - PulseInput
This input is among the most critical within the car was environment. Often referred to as the "pulse switch", or "heartbeat" of the wash, this is typically a sensing device near the entrance of the wash, and down next to the conveyor. This device detects conveyor movement as hardware moves in front of it and then away repeatedly, while the conveyor is running. This here->not here->here->not here up/down (or on/off) of the input is the "pulse".
In order to use this pulse information, and relate it to distance traveled, the system must know its "pulse to distance" measurement. To learn more about this, please see the Conveyor - Inches Per Pulse section within article Setup Options - Conveyor
Active Input
Active Input Toggle switches input between being 'used' and 'not used' as it relates to the controller. When toggled OFF, input will not affect the controller status in any way.
