Type - 27 - ESTOP
This input type is typically assigned to a physical push button e-stop within the tunnel. This input when triggered, will disengage the MCR output, rendering all outputs unable to engage.
To learn more about the MCR output, please see article Assistance Tool - Control Word - Output 0 MCR
Logic
Logic - can be set as Normally OPEN or Normally CLOSED. This designates whether at normal running state, whether the input should be ON or OFF.
Normally OPEN
When set to N/O Normally Open, the system will expect a 'low' signal while the input is at normal running state. Once the input turns 'high', the controller will e-stop (de-energize MCR, stopping voltage/run signals to all outputs).
Normally CLOSED
When set to N/C Normally Closed, the system will expect a 'high' signal while the input is at normal running state. Once the input turns 'low', the controller will e-stop (de-energize MCR, stopping voltage/run signals to all outputs).
Active Input
Active Input Toggle switches input between being 'used' and 'not used' as it relates to the controller. When toggled OFF, input will not affect the controller status in any way.
