Controller Status - [xxxx]
Within the square brackets to the right of "Controller Status" is your Motor City Wash Works customer identification number. This four or five digit number may be requested or referenced by Motor City Wash Works Sales, Customer Support, Parts and Billing.
controllera.xxxx.cruzcontrol.local
Immediately to the right of your location identification number is displayed your location's IP address or DNS name. This address also indicates the Motor City Wash Works assigned name of the CruzControl car wash controller this instance of Site Command is communicating with.
controllera
In most cases, the first part of this address will indicate controller a. 'a' indicating this is the first car wash controller at your location ("single tunnel site"). A 'b' may be specified for your second wash system located at the same site ("double tunnel" or "dual tunnel" sites), a 'c' indicates the third and so on.
xxxx
This is your Motor City Wash Works assigned site name, for DNS addressing purposes. From the example screenshot above, xxxx = the name of this location, for DNS purposes, is "mcecw-alpha".
cruzcontrol.local
The third and fourth part of a DNS address, these are assigned by Motor City Wash Works.
The Green Dot / The Gray Dot
The dot immediately to the right of the IP address/DNS name is a visual way to understand if Site Command is communicating with the car wash controller. Motor City Wash Works support may ask you to confirm if the controller is communicating; this dot indicator is a quick easy way to tell just that.
A green dot indicates the car wash controller is communicating with Site Command.
A gray dot indicates the car wash controller is failing to communicate with Site Command. Most often this is the result of a disconnected cable, or a powered down car wash controller.
Controller Version
This number, in the format of vXXXX indicates which version of CruzControl Car Wash Controller you're currently running.
Last Checked
Last Checked followed by a date and time indicates when Site Command last attempted to reach the controller.
Refresh
Clicking the refresh button asks Site Command to rerun its Controller Status routine and update this bar with the most recent information.
Initialization
Clicking this button reveals the Site Command Initialization window. Within are more details about your car wash controller and configuration. This is editable by Motor City Wash Works staff only, but is displayed here to the user for informative purposes.
