Equipment Function - 7 - RETRACT (FRONT BUMPER)
This equipment function selection will retract the output for the front bumper of the car.
NOTE: Use this type when programming a High Hood output. *** DO NOT assign outputs configured for 7 - RETRACT (FRONT BUMPER) into any Wash Packages - Washes, Wash Packages - Upsells, or Wash Packages - Overrides *** The output will be automatically added to the package if a High Hood is detected, when corresponding input is configured.)
Auto On With High Hood
Enabling this (slider moved to the right/blue) will instruct this output to turn itself on upon system "high hood" detection.
Pickup Behavior
Here you may define how this output should behave should the system detect that the vehicle is a pickup truck
0 - None of the Above
This selection instructs the output to do nothing unique should the system detect this vehicle is a pickup truck.
1 - Full Length
This selection instructs the output to perform its action for the entire length of the vehicle.
2- Cab Only
This selection instructs the output to perform its action only from the front of the vehicle to the end of the pickup truck's cab.
3 - Bed Only
This selection instructs the output to perform its action only from the start of the pickup truck's bed to the rear bumper.
Output Logic
This defines for the system what "off" and "on" mean.
N/O Normally Open
When set to N/O Normally Open, the system will hold low (turn off its relay or command via communication protocol "off" to equipment) its signal while the output is at rest. Then when the system decides its time to turn the output "on", it will turn on and energize its relay, or command via communication protocol "on" to the equipment.
N/C Normally Closed
When set to N/C Normally Closed, the system will hold hi (turn on/energize its relay or command via communication protocol "on" to equipment) its signal while the output is at rest. Then when the system decides its time to turn the output "on", it will turn of and deenergize its relay, or command via communication protocol "off" to the equipment.
Include in the WetDown procedure
Enabling this (slider moved to the right/blue) will instruct this output to turn itself on upon "WetDown" request from the user. For more information regarding wet down, please see article Wet Down - What is it?
Pre Station On
This value, in inches, enables the user to specify how far before the front bumper reaches Distance To Gate this output should turn on.
Distance To Gate
This defines the distance, in inches, from the entry eye to the central point of the equipment's operational window as specified by equipment's operator manual.
Post Station Off
This value, in inches, enables the user to specify how long this output should remain on after the front bumper of the vehicle has past Distance To Gate.
Motor Type
Motor Type determines how the Cruz Control Car Wash Controller is to fire this output.
0 - None
A motor type of "None" indicates the controller is to fire this physical output. Physical outputs are those that are designated "CRx". Motor City Wash Works offers multiple physical output configurations for purchase, up to a maximum of 128. Please consult with your sales representative for more information.
1 - TeSys
A motor type of "TeSys" indicates the controller is to fire an attached TeSys Bus Coupler motor starter via ModbusTCP communication. These are often referred to as "network driven" outputs. All Cruz Control Car Wash Controllers support 25 TeSys outputs; these are numbered output 128 through output 153.
2 - VFD
A motor type of "VFD" indicates the controller is to fire an attached variable frequency drive via ModbusTCP communication. These are often referred to as "network driven" outputs. All Cruz Control Car Wash Controllers support 85 VFD outputs; these are numbered output 154 through output 239.
3 - PLC
A motor type of "PLC" Indicates that the output interacts with another Motor City Wash Works Cruz Control enabled Device to carry out the I/O operation necessary via modbus TCP. These subsystems include but are not limited to the Dry n Shine and Glow Wash.
