The following listing includes all Equipment Function options available within the CruzControl environment, version 3.1.0 or newer. These Equipment Functions define what an output does; its "equipment function". For a full explanation of outputs and where to find the Equipment Function selection, please reference the article Outputs.
Below lists every choice available, and a brief summary of each. For a detailed explanation of each, please click the associated article.
0 - NOT USED
Completely disables output.
1 - FULL CAR
Output will be active for the full length of the vehicle.
2 - FRONT BUMPER ONLY
Output will only operate for the front portion of the vehicle and will not consider vehicle length.
3 - REAR BUMPER ONLY
Output will only operate for the rear portion of the vehicle and will not consider vehicle length.
4 - DRYER/BLOWER
Drying device will operate for the full length of the vehicle.
5 -TIRE DEVICE
Will operate when a tire passes. For example: Wheel washers.
6 - RETRACT (FULL CAR)
Will retract the selected output as the vehicle passes.
7 - RETRACT (FRONT BUMPER)
Will retract the output for the front bumper of the vehicle.
8 - EXIT DOOR OPEN
Will open Exit Door when configured Conveyor Length has been achieved.
9 - EXIT DOOR CLOSE
Will close Exit Door after pre-configured amount of time has elapsed.
10 - RETRACT (REAR BUMPER)
Will retract the output for the rear bumper of the vehicle.
11 - FRONT TIRE ONLY
Based on treadle/tire switch input. Will fire for front tire only.
12 - REAR TIRE ONLY
Base on treadle/tire switch input. Will fire for rear tire only.
13 - VIRTUAL FRONT BUMPER RETRACT
Will retract the selected output for the front bumper of the vehicle. This is based on the ‘Pre-Station On' and ‘Post-Station Off’. Can be used on a non-relayed output (over output 153).
14 - VIRTUAL REAR BUMPER RETRACT
Will retract the selected output for the rear bumper of the vehicle. This is based on the ‘Pre-Station On' and ‘Post-Station Off’. Can be used on a non-relayed output (over output 153).
15 - BULLDOG EQUIPMENT FUNCTION
Equipment function that takes the length of the Bulldog tire brush into account.
16 - HALF CAR
Will fire the output for the designated front length of the vehicle.
17 - VIRTUAL FULL CAR RETRACT
Will retract the selected output as the vehicle passes. Can be used on a non-relayed output (over output 153).
18 - WINDSHIELD DEVICE
Will take the detected windshield area (by sonar) and fire output accordingly.
19 - VIRTUAL WINDSHIELD DEVICE RETRACT
Will turn OFF output selected under Virtual Output Selection when windshield is detected.
20 - SYSTEM USE ONLY; NOT AVAILABLE FOR SELECTION
21 - PREP GUN #1
Timed outputs for manually applying pre-wash chemicals.
22 - PREP GUN #2
Timed outputs for manually applying pre-wash chemicals.
23 - SYSTEM USE ONLY; NOT AVAILABLE FOR SELECTION
24 - ANTI-COLLISION SIGN
Sign at the end of tunnel to alert customer their wash is complete and they should move forward. Sign turns off automatically when vehicle has left the collision zone.
25 - ENTRANCE SIGN
Sign at tunnel entrance to display type of wash selected. Turns on when wash started and off when vehicle passes entry photo eye.
26 - CONVEYOR
Output designated to start the conveyor.
27 - ROLLER UP
Sends roller to push vehicle through wash.
28 - WARNING HORN
Warning buzzer sounded prior to conveyor startup.
29 - RUN WITH CONVEYOR
Output will operate whenever the conveyor is running. This option is not available for testing and calibration sensors. This output will not activate if in test mode.
30 - SYSTEM USE ONLY; NOT AVAILABLE FOR SELECTION
31 - SYSTEM USE ONLY; NOT AVAILABLE FOR SELECTION
32 - SYSTEM USE ONLY; NOT AVAILABLE FOR SELECTION
33 - SYSTEM USE ONLY; NOT AVAILABLE FOR SELECTION
34 - MANUAL
The output can only be activated manually from the touch button station.
35 - SYSTEM USE ONLY; NOT AVAILABLE FOR SELECTION
36 - ACCUSHOT
Used for Accushot chemical pump. Will turn on when any output designated as an Accushot valve is fired.
37 - SYSTEM USE ONLY; NOT AVAILABLE FOR SELECTION
38 - OMNI PUMP
This function interlocks the Omni pump with an associated valve in order to fire.
